It looks like despite the average reviews for Jay Z's "Blueprint 3" album, fans still couldn't resist buying it. According to reports released today, the album sold 425,000 copies in it's first week. This makes it Jay Z's 11th straight #1 album, surpassing Elvis's total of 10 straight #1 albums.
While Jay Z holds the mark as a solo artist, the group "The Beatles" still tops Jay with 16 #1 albums sold.
